With box, leather case and manual in Spanish (Obtained from a vendor in El Salvador). The pocket version of the Faber Castell 2/83. Brackets only on the reverse make this a sort of "open duplex" like many Aristo rules. The scales are permanently aligned and the cursor includes an adjustment screw for alignment.

The name "Novo-Biplex" was used only in rules intended for the Spanish-speaking market. there is no other difference from the "Novo-Duplex"

Using the W₁ and W₂ scales, one can get the same precision as a 10" rule.

I like this rule but, as with many plastic rules, I find the slide a little sticky and will probably stay with my trusty Versalog for portable use.
