With original box, hard cover instruction manual, care pamphlet, leather case and belt clip. Rule still in original manufacturer's wrap. The box insert is vacuum-molded polystyrene and has cracked badly over time. Nearly identical to the 4081-3.
This rule is one of 47 sets recovered from the current "heirs and assigns" of Keuffel and Esser, Intellicoat, when that latter disposed of all K&E relics it had acquired when it purchased Azon. The script of this corporate drama is given in the certificate of authenticity provided by Slide Rule Universe who brokered the sale of these units to collectors.
