It's hard to get a sense of scale of a 7-foot slide rule with just a couple of pictures at the ends. So, first, let's add a little human interest:

My digital camera has a feature that lets you take wide landscapes via a sort of pan-and-scan technique. Software is provided to let you reassemble these strips. It works great when you have a 3-frame landscape, less well when you have a 25-frame slide rule and no mounting equipment. Here's the full rule:
