Pickett Model No. 1000 Ortho-Phase Duplex

Cream base color, with saddle leather case. Heavily oxidized. Has numerous acid stains on all parts. The case is very badly splattered. Clearly owned by a chemist. The name "H Kaplan" is scratched into the end brackets. The copyright date is 1948 and Pickett and Eckel have moved to Alhambra, California (compare the Model 4 of 1947 when Pickett was based in Chicago). Serial number on the runner, "05F0622".

The 1000 is the grandaddy trig rule, from which the 1010 and 1011 derive.
