Rule specially commissioned by the Cleveland Institute of Electronics to accompany their correspondence courses.

The reverse of the rule includes order-of-magnitude scales to support the wide dynamic range of reactance, impedance, inductance and capacitance calculations. Once the general area is determined, the H, 2π, L and C scales can be used to fine tune the result.
