These were designed as pocket/travel versions of the 1460 rules. Made in Japan by Hemmi.

Original Versalog rule with leather pocket clip case. The Versalog II is a Teledyne Post 44DA-61O with vinyl pocket clip case and original box. Box has price tag ($13.90). A less-than-observant dealer combined this unit with a Versatrig manual which didn't quite fit in the box (despite the fact that the box is marked "without manual").

Original Versalog dated May 1967 ("RE" mark on lower edge) with model number marked along the upper edge of the obverse.

Copy 2 dated December 1971 ("VL" mark on lower edge) with model number at right end.
