Psion Organiser II Mains Adapter

Plugs into the back of the Psion Organiser II and provides 32 kilobytes of backup storage. The Datapak uses EPROM; any data stored on it cannot be deleted directly, although you can mark something as deleted if you no longer wish to see it show up in your directory. This may be necessary before you can save a new copy of whatever file you are backing up.

Erasure is accomplished by exposing the chip to ultraviolet light. This removes all data from the chip which must then be reinitialized. Obtaining a second Datapak is recommended. Format the new Pak, move the files from the old to the new (which necessarily skips over any unneeded bytes) then reformat the old Pak.
