Psion Organiser II Maths Pack

• Type: Computer Expansion Module
• Size: 1 x 2 in / 2.5 x 5 cm

Provides:

• additional analytic functions (gamma, Bessel functions, factorial, arcsin/arccos, sinh/cosh/tanh)
• equation solutions (quadratic, cubic, Newton's method root finding, linear systems to order 10, eigenvalues, and matrix determinants)
• numerical integrations via Simpson's Rule (numerical and analytic integrands)
• statistics (chi-square, confidence, error function, correlation coefficients)
• curve fitting

The analytic functions are also available to OPL programs. The factorial function requires an integer argument. If accessing this function from the calculator, enter it as FAC:(INT(5)). (Note the colon)

The numerical integration seems to crash when integrating a function. It works fine when entering numerical samples directly. There may be an inconsistency between this module and the Model LZ.
