Texas Instruments TI Programmable 59/Master Library Module
From Wiki
Texas Instruments TI-58/59 Master Library Module
- Type: Optional Calculator Accessory
- Size: 5/8 x 3/4 inch / 1.6 x 2 cm
The Master Library module was included with every TI-58 and TI-59, and for probably 90% of the userbase this was enough; shake the thing out, take a look at it, shrug shoulders and drop it back in. It's a pretty complete set of anything you'd want to do with a calculator.
Applications:
- Master Library Diagnostic
- Matrix Inversion, Determinants and Simultaneous Equations
- Matrix Addition and Multiplication
- Complex Arithmetic
- Complex Functions (X2, sqrt(X), 1/X, eX, ln X and polar coordinates)
- Complex Trig Functions (sin, cos, tan, sin-1, cos-1, tan-1)
- Polynomial Evaluation
- Zeroes of Functions
- Simpson's Approximation (Continuous, for a user defined function over a range)
- Simpson's Approximation (Discrete, for a function whose value is known over N+1 equally spaced points)
- Triangle Solution 1 (SSS, SSA, SAS)
- Triangle Solution 2 (ASA, SAA)
- Curve Solution (chords and arcs)
- Normal Distribution
- Random Number Generator
- Combinations, Permutations, Factorials (remember how TI used to hate having a factorial key?)
- Moving Averages
- Compound Interest
- Annuities
- Day of the Week, Days Between Dates
- Hi-Lo Game
- Checking/Saving Account Management (on the TI-59, then, you had to keep your bankbook on a little magnetic card)
- DMS Operations (degree/minute/second)
- Unit Conversions 1 (length)
- Unit Conversions 2 (volume, weight, temperature)
